Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz couldn't keep their hands off each other on Saturday as they shopped and snacked during an evening out in Santa Monica. They wrapped up their night by heading to the movies and seeing the Buzz-approved film The Kids Are All Right. Penelope has been busy working on a movie of her own, as production of Pirates of the Caribbean 4 continues following a move from Hawaii to California.

Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz got costumed up last night to shoot new scenes for Pirates of the Caribbean 4 in LA. Production on the film moved from Hawaii to California, meaning an end to Johnny's shirtless downtime by his pool with his bikini-clad partner Vanessa Paradis. Their filming schedule has given both stars the chance to recharge, and Penelope relaxed by meeting up with old friends to show off her new wedding ring.

Penelope Cruz was back in LA last week after her stint in Hawaii working on Pirates of the Caribbean 4 with her often-costumed costar Johnny Depp, and she joined friends for an al fresco lunch on Friday at Antonio's Italian restaurant. It was just last month that Penelope's rep confirmed that the actress had tied the knot with her long-term boyfriend, Javier Bardem, and she was happily showing off her new diamond to her pals during her meal. She and her Brad Pitt-loving husband, Javier Bardem, have another reason to celebrate this weekend, after his Eat Pray Love came in at a respectable second place at the box office.
